POLICY RECORD / P02
Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Spenceelectrical, an online-only household record and quote-preparation workspace operated by SPENCE ELECTRICAL SERVICES LIMITED.
Service scope
The service structures user-supplied observations into maintenance record drafts, question lists, photo checklists, and downloadable logs. It does not provide physical goods, on-site work, installation, repair, diagnosis, inspection, certification, emergency response, or professional advice.
Eligibility and account responsibility
Users must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Users are responsible for accurate account information, protecting access credentials, activity under their account or browser, and promptly reporting suspected misuse.
Drafts require review
Outputs are drafts derived from user input. Users must review facts, remove sensitive data, confirm rights to submitted material, and decide whether a document is suitable to share. A licensed local professional must determine real-world cause, safety, scope, or action.
Subscriptions and credits
Prices are shown in USD. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Credits are usage units for generation and export features; they are not money, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may expire or reset as described at purchase. Taxes may be added where required.
Payment boundary
Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal. Users provide payment information directly to the selected provider. We receive transaction references, billing status, and limited customer details, not full card numbers. Failed or disputed payments may suspend paid access.
Cancellation and refunds
Users may cancel before the next renewal by contacting billing support. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund / Cancellation Policy and any mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Acceptable use
Users must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and must not seek operational repair steps, dangerous instructions, false certification, insurance evidence, emergency handling, unlawful surveillance, infringement, or deceptive records.
User content and licences
Users retain rights in their lawful input and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide, secure, and support the service. Rights in generated output and restrictions are described in the Content License.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, secure, update, or change features and usage limits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular output. Material subscription changes will be communicated as required by law.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that limit, the service is provided as a drafting workspace, and users remain responsible for decisions, professional engagement, site access, safety, compliance, and use of outputs.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections in a user’s place of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Contact support@spenceelectrical.shop before starting a claim so the issue can be reviewed.
